The retrieval of historic planning records that are not stored at the Town Hall, will be subject to the payment in advance of a file retrieval charge.

Please note that Section 47 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 protects plans, drawings and material submitted to us for the purpose of obtaining planning permission. You may only use material that is downloaded and / or printed from this website for consultation purposes, to compare current planning applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.
Any representations that are submitted will be published on the District Council's website. This may include your name and address, but personal telephone numbers, email addresses and signatures of individuals will be removed. Copies of representations may also be made available if requested, in accordance with the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. If the case goes to appeal, your comments will be sent to the appellant and the Planning Inspectorate and they will be published on the Planning Portal website. Please ensure that you only provide information belonging to you, that you are happy will be made available to others in this way. If you supply information belonging to a third party, please ensure that you have their permission to do so.
