The District Council has now considered all of the responses received to the Main Modifications, Additional Modifications and Policy Map Modifications. All representations have now been forwarded to the Inspector for his consideration. A summary of the representations submitted together with the District Council’s response to the Main Modifications are available in the examination library.

The modifications to the Pre-submission Draft Local Plan were approved by Council on the 28th June. Public consultation on the modifications will run from the 3rd July until the 14th August. You can see the Modifications and how to comment on them here.

EX23 has now been updated following information from the Peak District National Park Authority. Derbyshire County Council, as Highways Authority, have produced a paper providing clarification on a number of issues from Matter 9. This has been added to the examination library as EX/28.

The Inspector will conduct a series of public hearings as part of the examination process. The hearing sessions (which are part of the overall Examination) will open on Tuesday 9 May 2017. The first week of sessions (Stage 1) will take place on 9, 10 and 11 May. They will take place in the Council Chamber. Matlock Town Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3NN.
The hearings for Stage 2 will follow on immediately and take place on 16 - 19 May and 23 May.
