Stanton Lees

Stanton Lees Conservation Area is set within a predominantly rural area. The administration of the Conservation Area lies partly with the Derbyshire Dales Planning Authority and the Peak District National Park Planning Authority.

The boundary between the two administrative districts roughly dissects the Conservation Area, creating areas to the east and west. The Conservation Area includes land and buildings on Lees Road and Middle Lane and extends to the south and east as far as Bee Hill Farm and Hillcarr Farm (which are excluded).

The original designation of Stanton Lees Conservation Area was in March 1996. There have been no further amendments. It currently comprises 15.5 hectares.
