Head of PE wins gym membership

Our third lucky winner of a free gym membership at one of Derbyshire Dales District Council’s four leisure centres is... the head of PE at a local secondary school!
Martin Farr runs the PE department at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Ashbourne, but he’s delighted to have won our online competition.
“I might teach PE but when you are pushing 50 you have to work hard to keep in shape!” Martin joked. “Winning the membership has made my day.”
Throughout January, the District Council is giving away a gym membership each week in a free-to-enter online competition at derbyshiredales.gov.uk – and Martin’s name was first out of the hat in week three.
