Proposed wind farm – Public Inquiry under way

A Public Inquiry into appeals by Derbyshire Wind Energy Limited in respect of a proposed wind farm on land at Middle Moor/Matlock Moor started on 9 February.

The Inquiry, held by a Planning Inspector at Derbyshire Dales District Council’s offices in Matlock, is expected to last four weeks.

The proposed wind farm is on land belonging to Rushley Lodge Farm, off Wirestone Lane, Middle Moor/Matlock Moor.

Third parties who wished to make their views known to the Inspector were invited to attend the Town Hall on Thursday 11 February 2010.
