Bakewell stall market

Bakewell has had a market since 1330. The town's Livestock and Stall Markets continue to attract tourists and visitors, as well as providing an essential service to the local community.

Ample car and coach parking is available at the Agricultural Business Centre, which is close to the town centre.

In addition to the popular Monday stall market, The District Council operates the UK's second largest farmers' market at Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre monthly, usually on the last Saturday of the month.

Markets have a character and atmosphere that makes them a unique shopping experience - our indoor and outdoor markets have something to please everyone.  So if you want the finest and freshest foods, a unique gift, home furnishings, fashion or simply a refreshing snack there's no better place than one of the District Council's markets.  With regular events by local traders and external agencies, there's always something happening in your local market.
