The Derbyshire Arts Development Group
The Derbyshire Arts Development Group is an association of participatory arts organisations, local authorities and other arts groups, which exists to promote the development of professional arts in the county for the benefit of the people who live, work in and visit Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Arts Partnership
The Derbyshire Arts Partnership is a new way of working between Arts Council England and all ten local authorities in Derbyshire, including Derbyshire County Council.
The Arts Partnership has been developed to encourage joint working between;
- Amber Valley Borough Council
- Bolsover District Council
- Chesterfield Borough Council
- Derbyshire County Council
- Derbyshire Dales District Council
- Erewash Borough Council
- High Peak Borough Council
- North East Derbyshire District Council
- South Derbyshire District Council.
The aims of the Partnership are to develop the creative arts economy and to encourage young people to take part in the arts.
The artsderbyshire website provides information on arts activities, venues, artists and arts organisations for the general public, tourists and the arts professional sector.
Live & Local
Live & Local is Derbyshire's community performance scheme which helps a network of over a hundred village halls and community venues, book and promote entertaining and enjoyable professional arts events for their local audiences.
