About us

We are one of a small number of councils in the Country to be ranked as "Excellent". Our employees are proud that their efforts have been recognised and they continue to work hard to maintain and improve the standard already achieved. We therefore wish to recruit people of the highest standard in order to maintain our "excellent" status and our recruitment processes have been designed with this in mind.

We want to develop our employees' full potential on a continuing basis and, where possible, we will develop staff for future roles. A range of learning and development opportunities are available in-house or externally.
