Stock Condition Survey

Local authorities undertake surveys of a saple of the private housing stock in their areas every 5 years, in order to determine what housing problems exist and to help them plan their resorces in terms of enforcement of standards under Parts 1 to 4 of the Housing Act 2004 and in respect of the provision of grants.

The last such survey was caried out in 2003 and together with High Peak Borough Council, we are currently planning a new survey.  As this survey progresses this page will be updated, but at this time the councils are advertising for expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to undertake this work.  To access a copy of the advert please click the related attached:
