The RADAR National Key Scheme offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets around the UK. Toilets fitted with RADAR National Key Scheme locks can now be found in shopping centres, pubs, cafés, department stores, bus and train stations and many other locations in most parts of the country.

This means that, if you are disabled and living in the Derbyshire Dales, you can get a RADAR key to use in any of our public toilets.

From us

A RADAR key costs £3.00 and you can get one from us if you take proof of disability, such as a blue badge or a letter from your doctor, to the reception desk at the Town Hall, Matlock.

If you are visiting the Derbyshire Dales and do not have a RADAR key from your own council or require a replacement, you can still get one from us as long as you can provide proof of disability.

If you cannot make it to the Town Hall, please contact our Customer Services team for advice.
