Digital Derbyshire

Digital Derbyshire is a £15million campaign co-ordinated by Derbyshire County Council to improve the broadband service across the County.

Digital Derbyshire logoThe campaign has received £7.39million from the Government's Broadband Delivery UK scheme, and is matching this with other sources to make the £15million total.

The campaign means that homes and businesses in 'white areas' (areas of no or very slow broadband) are expected to benefit from improved broadband infrastructure.

How can you help?

We know there is a real hunger for better broadband in the Derbyshire Dales.  The Digital Derbyshire programme needs to be able to demonstrate this demand to potential suppliers and investors.

We need you, both residents and businesses, to register your interest in receiving better broadband to encourage telecoms providers to invest in the area.  Don't worry, you're not committing yourself to purchase anything. You're just showing that you need faster broadband.

Registering will only take a couple of minutes and could have a huge impact on helping bring better broadband to the Derbyshire Dales.
