Sponsorship Protocol
The Council recognises the need to encourage sponsorship and other income generating initiatives, which assist the Council with the delivery of effective services to the community. At the same time the Council wishes to ensure that individuals or organisations generous enough to provide sponsorship, are free from imputation of motivation by possible personal or commercial gain. This Protocol is therefore a guide to ensure that all sponsorship agreements are transparent and that care has been taken to ensure that the connection between a sponsor and the Council does not place either party in a compromising position.
