Council performance

Our 2011-12 Performance Plan and Summary Budget is an essential management and monitoring tool.

The Plan contains information about all of the District Council's services linked to the aims and objectives of the District Council's Corporate Plan.

The purpose of the Plan is to give details of the District Council’s performance in delivering local services during 2010-11 and its proposals to maintain or improve performance during 2011-12.  

We are still improving in many of our services - a positive achievement given the economic constraints on the District Council.

During 2010-11 we:

  • delivered 73% of our Corporate Plan targets on or before deadline

  • improved in 69% of our Priority Local Indicators
