Council feedback and consultation

Derbyshire Dales District Council is one of eight district councils within Derbyshire and is made up of 39 locally elected Councillors who make decisions on how to improve the services for which it has responsibility.

Derbyshire Dales District Council is the lynchpin of local government between the County Council and numerous Parish/Town Councils and Parish Meetings that are elected to serve local communities throughout the district.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service please, in the first instance, contact the appropriate department and make them aware of your problem.  If, having done that, you feel the problem has not been satisfactorily resolved, an Official Complaints Procedure is available.

If you wish to report a suspected breach of the Code of Conduct by a Member of Derbyshire Dales District Council or a Member of any of the town and parish councils within the district, please download the revised complaints procedure document below.

On the parish contacts page you can also find information or links to information about:

  • District council wards
  • County councillors and wards
