Councillor Jacqueline Bevan

I have been a Councillor for Derbyshire Dales District Council for over 20 years, and was (through the District Council) on the Peak National Park Authority for 10 years, until May 2011. In addition, I was a County Councillor for 8 years, until May 2005, when I did not stand again because the ward boundaries were considerably changed.   In the past I have also been Chair of the Planning and Economic Development Committee, and Chair of the Central Planning Committee.  Currently I am Chair of the Licensing and Appeals Committee.

Although I am no longer on the Peak Park board, I have considerable experience of their Planning issues and will be delighted to give anyone a helping hand who is having planning trouble with Peak Park. Also, often residents do not know which council deals with which service. If you don't know, you are not alone! Again, please feel free to ring me and ask. Having been on almost all the local councils, I should be able to help you find the right department.
