I was brought up in the area and attended the local school. After living abroad for some time, I returned to Curbar in 1995. I was first elected in a by-election in October 2000 to serve as a member of Derbyshire Dales District Council representing Calver Ward, which at that time included the villages of Curbar, Calver and Froggatt. In May 2002 I was re-elected and Stoney Middleton became part of my Ward.
I take a keen interest in local affairs. I am on the committee of the Calver Curbar and Froggatt Senior Citizens Club and a Member of the local W.I.
I am always pleased to get feedback and information from residents in my Ward, and help solve any problems you have with the Council. If I don't know, I can't help, so please get in touch if you have a problem. I value the beautiful area we live in, and want to help keep or improve it as a good place to live.
