Derbyshire Dales District Council has appointed Mr Peter Foley as its Director of Community Services.

Mr Foley was previously Environmental Health and Housing Manager at Derbyshire Dales and has worked at the District Council for 9½ years.

Beginning his career in 1975 at Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, Mr Foley has 33 years experience in local government, including 9½ years at High Peak Borough Council and 4 years at North East Derbyshire District Council.

As Director of Community Services Mr Foley will be responsible for Environmental Services, Housing and Leisure in Derbyshire Dales.
