Local Residents will have a chance to have their say at Derbyshire Dales District Council's Area Community Forum on Monday 14 April, 7pm, at Middleton by Wirksworth Village Hall

The topics for discussion will include:
Safer Neighbourhood Teams - how police officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), residents and partner agencies are working together to identify local issues and form solutions to address them

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue - information about the groundbreaking Youth Engagement Scheme (YES) and how to get a Home Fire Safety Check free of charge

New national travel scheme - the scheme came into effect on 1 April 2008 and means that if you are 60 or over, or eligible disabled, you are entitled to free off-peak local bus travel anywhere in England
