Voluntary organisations working in the Derbyshire Dales for the benefit of Derbyshire Dales residents are invited to apply for grant aid from Derbyshire Dales District Council.

The organisations objectives must match at least one of the following:

• the care and welfare of disabled people
• the relief of distress or sickness
• care in the community
• to enhance or sustain the natural or local environment
• the provision of services to increase an individual’s mobility within a community

The total funding available is expected to be £14,300 and the Community and Environment Committee will consider applications on 17 April 2008. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, 14 March 2008.
