To mark National Energy Savings Week the Climate Change Awareness Vehicle is visiting Shawcroft Car Park in Ashbourne on 23 October 2007.
Derbyshire Dales District Council is eager to help residents to find out about their carbon footprint, save energy, lower heating bills, find discounted loft and cavity wall schemes or solar heating grants.
The Climate Change Awareness Vehicle will be on the Shawcroft Car Park, Ashbourne from 9.30am to 3.30pm
Residents can make a climate change pledge and will receive a low energy lightbulb free as well as impartial advice on ways to save energy.
The Climate Change Awareness Vehicle received over 50 visitors in July when it visited Hall Leys Park in Matlock. Mrs Gilbert of Darley Dales said: “I got some great ideas on how to reduce my energy bills and save the planet thanks to the information I have received”. So why not pop along and see how our free impartial advice on climate and home energy issues can save you money.
Information will also be available on grants and schemes available to save you money including the Warm Front grant, discounted loft and cavity wall insulation as well as renewable energy issues.
