Ashbourne Tourist Information Centre
Conveniently located on the Market Place, the Tourist Information Centre provides a range of services which includes theatre tickets and tokens, accommodation bookings, Wayfarer and National Express tickets and Derbyshire Dales car parking passes.
We also stock a comprehensive range of books and maps in addition to walks leaflets and guides and a large range of free leaflets about attractions and events in the Peak District & Derbyshire. Brochures and leaflets on other destinations are also available.
Gifts can also be purchased, including gifts and toys for children, souvenirs of the Dales, locally produced crafts and prints and a range of greetings cards.

Located on the Market Place. From Buxton A515, proceed down the hill into Ashbourne, the Market Place is on the right hand side. From Derby A52, go straight over the traffic lights onto Compton, then Dig Street. Turn right at the junction and up the hill signposted Buxton. The Market Place is on the left hand side. From Lichfield, head into Ashbourne and at the traffic lights, turn left into Compton and follow the directions above. From Matlock, take the A6 through Matlock Bath and turn right at the traffic lights onto the B5035. Stay on this road until it becomes King Street and at the junction with the A515, head straight over into the Market Place.

From any direction, Crown Square can be found easily as it is centrally located next to Hall Leys Park. The Tourist Information Centre is on the Square between the roundabout and the bridge.

Matlock Bath Tourist Information Point
Conveniently located in the Peak District Mining Museum within the Grand Pavilion on South Parade, the Tourist Information Point is operated by the Mining Museum under a franchise agreement with Derbyshire Dales District Council. It provides a range of services which includes a large range of free leaflets about attractions and events in the Peak District & Derbyshire. There is also a Touch Screen Kiosk that visitors can use to obtain local information on accommodation, attractions and events.
Gifts and mementos can also be purchased from the Museum Shop.

Bakewell Visitor Centre
The Centre is a joint venture between the Peak District National Park Authority and Derbyshire Dales District Council and is housed in the atmospheric 17th Century Old Market Hall, conveniently located in the centre of Bakewell. Information for tourists and for visitors specifically interested in the National Park is available.
The Centre provides access to local and national accommodation bookings, public transport information, timetables and Day Rover tickets, theatre programmes and Buxton Opera House tickets. There is a large retail area that includes arts and crafts, maps a guide books, gifts and clothing. There is also an interactive exhibition for all ages on the mezzanine floor that offers visitors the opportunity to learn about and understand this special area of the UK's first National Park.
