Description: Babbling Vagabonds create exciting, adventurous and original theatre productions, develop and deliver community arts projects big and small, and do lots of theatre making workshops in schools, youth groups, and clubs.
Some of our productions include small-scale pockets of delight suitable for touring to village halls, church rooms, and other community nooks and crannies. Sometimes though, we like to go wild, with large-scale site-specific theatre adventures in abandoned quarries, moonlit woodlands, windswept moor lands, and other sites of interest where we can get an audience to. We do this mostly in The Peak District.
Previous community projects have included lantern processions, shadow theatre performances, community theatre projects, and we are always looking out for new ways of using our art skills to encourage community play and development.
Our work in school includes performances and theatre making workshops, specialist performance skills workshops, and personal and social development through theatre arts workshops.
