Arts Council England, East Midlands is the regional office of the national development agency for the arts and provides grants for the arts, including funding from the National Lottery. It aims to create opportunities for people to experience and take part in life-changing artistic experiences and provides financial backing to enable people to enjoy, participate in and be stimulated by a wide range of arts activities, some of which reflect the cultural diversity of the region. It aims to ensure that the highest possible standards of arts activities are available and believes that being involved in the arts can have a lasting and transforming effect on many aspects of people’s lives.
Grants are available for individuals, arts organisations, community and youth groups and other people who use the arts as part of their work.
