Profile: I have lived in Matlock since 1978 and work in the Learning Support Department at Highfields School in Matlock. I was first elected to Matlock Town Council in 2003 and served as Mayor in 2006 - 2007. I was elected to Derbyshire Dales District Council in a by-election in 2003. I am a Governor of Castle View Primary School in Matlock and a committee member of the Matlock-Eaubonne Twinning Association. I hope constituents find me approachable on all the matters they refer to me - if I don't know the answers, I try to do my best to find out! I attempt to be a link between the public and the sometimes complicated systems of local government. I can be contacted by e-mail at any time and on my home telephone number every weekday after 4pm and anytime at the weekend.
